Looking for info. on Brennan(sometimes spelled Brennen) and Wilson families. William Brennan was a blacksmith. His daughter Margaret married James Henry Wilson in 1882 at the parish church in St. George Hanover Square. They had 3 children----Ellen, Cissy(Cecelia) and Humphrey. It looks like James was married once prior to this marriage and had one son named James--born about 1884. James died in 1898. He was a lastmaker and his father named James was also a lastmaker. Margaret died in 1940 in London. Ellen and Cissy also lived pretty well all their lives in London and both died there.

Found him in 1871-easier than I thought  ;D
I wonder if he ever was married you know? As he's 35 and still at home with mum in 71.Maybe he just got custody of James- or perhaps he did marry and she died all very quickly.

At 8 Carnaby Street,Golden Square Westminster is...

Head Mary Wilson widowed 56 housekeeper b Bath
James Wilson son unm 35 last maker b Westminster
Harry Wilson son unm 27    "     "         b St Andrews? Holborn
Emma Wilson dau  unm 20 b Chelsea
William Wilson son unm 18 b Chelsea  French Polisher

RG10/138 folio 53 page 3

ALL you need to do now  ;D ;D ;D is find James junior's birth cert to confirm who mum was  ::)

Hope this helps
