Yes the nearest i can find that matches the year he was born 1785 is the one in helston 1872 aged 86 yrs old

Have you tried variant spellings? The 1861 entry had an e on the end of the surname

Have you discounted the 1863 death in Penzance

The only one i can see for 1863 in penzance is for a 3 and a half year old boy in marazion
