Marriage-A Tree merge [grafting?]
« on: Monday 31 December 12 09:50 GMT (UK) »
When my daughter marries later in 2013, her husband already has an established tree. This will add 1355 to my 'greater' tree which includes all the marriages and each spouse's ancestry. This is just for a record. My 'lesser' tree consists of direct ancestors and spouses and children only.
Does any other Rootschatter graft another tree onto theirs when a child marries?

I suppose it depends on what you personally want your tree to be (and whether the extended family wish to be in it).

I have told my extended family that my website is a "family chronicle" and I will happily add any information they wish to tell me.

Do I need to add, that almost nothing has come back :(
