1901 Census, Francis Randolph Howlett
« on: Thursday 02 June 05 22:03 BST (UK) »
Have trawled the 1901 census looking for Francis Randolph Howlett, he was a stoker in the Royal Navy, married in 1900 he was from Chapeltown, Yorkshire.

Have tried different spellings but to no avail, I know he was alive because in 1905 he is shown as Father to his daughter.

Anyone any ideas which might help.

Cheers

If he and his ship were on the high seas somewhere then he is unlikely to be on the census for this country, just as soldiers fighting at the time in South Africa are missing because of the Boer war.
