According to "The Annals of Forres" published in 1934, Frasers Buildings were off Pilmuir Road.  There were two rows with their gables towards Pilmuir Road, a total of 36 houses with 46 or 48 tenants.  There was a shop in the westernmost gable a grocers owned for many years by a Miss Smith and latterly by her nephew James Smith.
I remember them being there in a poor state but still occupied in the early sixties.
As mentioned in other posts the area has been completely developed

Not sure if that was what I read when I was up there in September. We went into the Tolbooth and a very nice gentleman kindly showed me some information similar to yours. I managed to find the two photos referred to earlier in this post so at least I now have an idea of what the buildings were like. Thanks!
