 Is your husband any relation to Owen Saunders Davies, the racing driver from the 1930's?

Yes, thanks for that. Trouble is there's plenty on the distant history of the family but my problem has been sorting out the more recent past - the past 100 years. There's a big gap in my tree - not helped by the fact that BMD certs are sometimes under one name, and sometimes under another.

I can't wait for the 1911 census - I'm hoping it'll answer a lot of questions.

My Grandfather was born Gwyn Saunders-Davies of Pentre, Boncath!
