Hi I am a great niece of Hector and have recently come into the possession of a painting by his brother Leo.  My sister has come into the possession of I think three paintings by Hector.  I will need to photograph and post these next time I see her.  I recall visiting my great uncles when they lived in Kew, Victoria back in the 1960's.  Can I ask what instigated your interest in his work and/or life?

Hi Naomi....I am related too to Uncles Hector, Leo and Cliff.  My mother was born Anne Wolfe - son of Frederick and Mona Wolfe of Brunswick.  They were her uncles. Loved the home the (great) uncles lived in at Kew, especially the way the upstairs attic was accessed.  Have pm'd someone by your name of fb so hoping it was you - would be interesting to find our our connection!  I have one of Leo's paintings and my sister has three I think of Hector's.
