Hi Bill, I have been doing extensive research on both my grandparents families with the help of a brilliant genealogist in Lithuania. Got my great grandfather Viktors birth record sent the other day & name is on it as Marcinkevicius so that might help you with your search. Regarding the name changes - my.grandmothers family name Simanavicius was also changed to Smith but my grandfather Marcinkewicz? Was changed to Mitchell. Am going.to try & attach pic with bellshill address on.back (pic taken in Edinburgh studio) so hopefully it'll work.

Once you have posted 3 times you can contact others by PM use the image that looks like a printed letter below the users name.
