Condit family missing street info from 1911 census
« on: Tuesday 22 January 13 16:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Wonder if anyone could help.  In 1901 survey I can find my great grandparents, and my grandfather living at 44 Halliday's Road.

See here

However, in 1911 they are all missing.  If I look for Halliday's road it seems half the street is missing (including 44 Halliday's Road, where they were living).

Any help? !!

Many thanks
Krgds

The Irish census doesn't give house numbers! ;D
What you were looking at in 1901 is form 44, Halliday's Road.

Charlotte Condit is the sister of the head of the household, Helena Patterson.
She has 7 children with her.

Maybe she was re-married before 1911, and all the family are under the new name?

Hi
Thanks for reply.

Didn't know about house numbers, thanks for tip!

Actually i found another piece of information about her, i think someone has looked up on Microfilm.  Cosgrave Street doesnt seem appear on the 1911 online search either?

1.  Look up request on the 1901 Census Index if one is available.
Looking for the following family:
(a) Information found on the 1911 Census at 146 Cosgrave Street, Belfast: Charlotte Condit, age: 49 yrs, married: 24yrs (no husband on census), religion: Church of Rome and six of her children: Thomas 23, Helena 18, Samuel 15, Hugh 13, James 12, Charlotte 10.
Have checked the the LDS microfilm for 1901 at the same address and also looked at some of the surrounding streets in the area, but no luck.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have found a Bernard Condit of Fleet Street in 1896.
Have you a Bernard in your tree?
