that's a disappointment isn't it  - as you say difficult to read her name on that cert. - no, it doesn't look like Looney or Browning.  :-\


- but by the time you are 'signing' a marriage register, you are usually using your married name aren't you - so maybe he just assumed we'd all know that she was Artus by then.     :-\

Wiggy. Just checked a few old certificates and, without exception, all signed with the bride's single surname.

OK - sorry - just thinking about signing my own and nervously trying my first time writing my new married name in public!!     ;) ;D ;D

Just went back checking some of my old certs and you are right - should have done that first shouldn't I!!     :-[
