Hi Gypsy Scholar,

Jacobina SEATOR'S 1756 Westray Baptism has her Mother as Barbara HEWISON
She had these Siblings Baptised ;
JAMES 1759
BARBARA 1760
JEAN 1764
ANN 7 Setter March 1767 * Father William as Setter
WILLIAM 11 May 1769
CHARLES 30 May 1771
JOHN 1775
Parents William SEATOR//Barbara HEWISON
(only year given for 5 Childrens Baptisms, only Ann has Father as Setter not Seator)

As  Mk2_Zephyr said earlier he has a "vast Seatter, Flett paper record somewhere from 15 years ago when first working on this branch"

There may be a connection if Barbara 1760 married late in life age 30.

Marriage;
18 June 1790, Kirkwall Church
James LOGIE to Barbara SEATER

As I posted years age for Lynda;

Gilbert Logie,  30 May 1802
Anne Robert Traill Logie( female) 11 July 1806
Elizabeth Craigie Logie, same parents, 8 August 1800.

Earlier Children were;
James Logie 1793, Birth 15 Dec 1792
Robert Logie, 27 Feb 1795, birth 18 Feb
Elizabeth Logie, 27 Nov 1797, birth 21 Oct
Father is JAMES Logie and Mother as Barbara Seater/Sealer/Seator/Seale

Some have Fathers Occp as Mariner which seems to match various spellings of Barbaras maiden name.

Also the Witnesses to the Baptism of Anne Robert Traille Logie 1806 were Miss Anne Traill and Mr Robert Traill.

Thank you. That's really intriguing as I already thought there was a link later on. It's interesting to see the link begins much earlier with this family.
