Thanks,

In 1911 census, Patrick Farrell is at 20 Bride street Wexford as Head. In 1901, the family are in Furlongs lane but he is missing. ... The search continues...

Could easily have been at sea, having fun with the Boers in South Africa, in the navy, or army, working in England, etc.

Many thanks Shorts. Many of Michael Farrell's Liverpool born children were evacuated to Bride street during WW2. Familiar names keep cropping up. It would be spooky if you had a Dalton & Keogh marriage in Liverpool in your tree.

I have been looking on Ancestry for a possible marriage for Mary Berry and Patrick Farrell.
Mary Berry Wexford Apr/May Jun 1890 Vol 4 Page 728
Patrick Farrell Wexford Apr/May Jun 1890 Vol 4 Page 428.
With different page numbers, is it likely that I have the wrong people ?

300 hundred pages seems a huge number within a quarter,my feeling is 4 or 7 was transcribed in error

Have a look at the third marriage on this page
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01iz7/

Edited to add
The first marriage on that page appears on the index
but John Doran to Kate Berry does not appear either

Just to add that I would agree that this has to be a transcription error - Wexford Registration District/Union entries are grouped together in any given quarter/book, so "Wexford" registrations are never separated by 300 pages. [But note that other registration districts in Co. Wexford, such as Enniscorthy and New Ross, can be separated by 300 pages from "Wexford" entries.]
