Marriage look up please.

Looking for the Marriage of William Jones to a Jane. William was bc1850/52 Llangariew, Denby, Llangerenew,  Jane bc1847 Caerwys, Flint, Llangerenew depending on the census. They were in Lancashire for the 1881 census with 1st known child bc 1870. Known children named John Robert, William Henry, Thomas and Elias Thomas. Thomas possibly died at 2yrs old.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Trying Flintshire first as the brides possible parish?

There are far too many William Jones marriage with a "Jane" on the same page to determine which is the right one

You will need to buy a copy of one of their childrens birth certs to get Jane's maiden name

There is an 1881 for Widnes which includes an Elias T aged 3 and a William H aged 4 - but parents are William b Denbighshire 1851 and Elizabeth b 1852 Beaumaris

Big age gap for JR and Wm jnr - wonder if JR is Jane's son from a previous marriage (also given Wm. snr's age?)

Might be worth looking for a late 1870s to early 1881 marriage in Manchester or Salford?

But I'd go with Carole's advice and get Wm H birth cert ...

Well Lostris,you could well have hit the nail on the head!Living in Ysceifiog Flintshire and given as born in Caerwys in c 1847 is a Jane Minshull-HO107/2500/703/3.Lancashire BMD gives us the marriage in 1875 at Manchester St Mary of a William Jones and a Jane Minshull.

There is a rather interesting birth of a John Robert Minshull in the Chorley Registration District in 1869,Oct/Nov/Dec quarter,Volume 8c,Page 673.This John Robert Minshull in 1901 living in Bolton looks interesting as well-RG13/3607/54/42.
