To AntonyR, please take a look at your other message in the thread about Patrick Joseph Lynch of Tullydish.  I've posted a reply there which my interest you.  Cheers.

Tullydish seems to be an alternative spelling- see PRONI Will Extracts, google, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi

Sorry to bother you all, I was wondering if you could provide some information.

I'm trying to trace ancestors for my grandfather Patrick Joseph Lynch who had a sister Susan and a brother John, there might be more I'm unaware of. They came to Scotland but their family came from Buncrana, Donegal. The mother of Patrick Joseph was Sarah Jane Lynch nee Henderson.

Any information you can provide would be great fully appreciated.

Hi Anthony

I do know a bit about this family. I don't know how much info you have as you don't really say. I thought there was another post on Rootschat that Tumbleweed aka Wee Annie did some time ago but I cannot find it at the moment. I did give her quite a bit of help with her tree outside of Rootschat and we became good friends.

Tumbleweed I don't know how to message you but I think we may be related. I'm just not sure how exactly ! I know from DNA testing that we are from the Buncrana / Tullydish area, and my great grandfather was a Henderson :-)

Hello 52747

Welcome to Rootschat. You have to do a few more posts before you can message someone or they can contact you.

Tumbleweed aka Wee Mamie passed away in 2015. Unfortunately I have no contact with her family to help you get in contact.
