Hi all,
Posting on behalf of my godmother whom i am helping with her family history.
A family member Kenneth Arthur Brimley was found drowned in Coombe Keynes in June 1923. We have found three newspaper reports all dated 9th June 1923, they being the Aberdeen Journal, Dundee Courier & the Hull Daily Mail. There did not appear to be any local Dorset papers on the British Newspaper archive.
Would it be possible for sks to see if anything appeared in any local papers, ie report of death and/or inquest? Would there also be any inquest records extant as the East Dorset Coroner was involved?
This is rather a sad if not tragic case & we would appreciate any and all help to find any other info if there is any.
Also it is not known where he was buried. He wasn't buried in his home town in Huntingdonshire nor does he seem to have been buried in Coombe Keynes as far as i can tell. Any help or ideas as to where he was buried would also be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards
David
