It looks like the info provided by Annclare is the family I am looking for. Mary was born in 1906 and Barbara 1910 which matches up with the census. I had a possible name of Mary as the mother and this matches that info too. I have heard mention of Salalee before too. Thank you for your help.

Hi Bill,
I am glad that you can now move forward with your search.
It is best if you mention any information you already have or anything which could help. It prevents unnecessary searching and saves time.
Best wishes
Heywood

Thanks heywood. I'm a rookie at this.....I just started my search a few weeks ago and you all have been very helpful . I did learn something new. Colman Conroy was supposedly in the Irish Army for his whole career. Is there any place to check that out?

Hi I may have some information for you as I am from Salalee.
Did you in the 50/60's live in Pittsburg?
If so could you confirm your four digit house number?
This way I can confirm we may have known each other and I can pass on some information to you.

Hello,

I was a young boy in the 50's and 60's, but my father and his parents lived in a house that the number was 1033. It was in Pittsburgh. My grandmother was a Conroy.

Thanks for any help!

Hi
I am your first cousin, my father was Thomas Conroy. We met at your parents house in the 1970's.
If you want any family information maybe we could swap email addresses.
Michael

I am looking for relatives or information on the Conroy family from Rosmuc. The father's name was Thomas. He was also known as Tom More or Tom Bottle. There were sons named Dudley, Michael, Thomas and Colman. Daughters were named Mary Agnes and Barbara Ellen. Mary & Barbara immigrated to the US in the late 1920's. Dudley supposedly moved to England. Barbara settled in Boston, and Mary in Pittsburgh. Barbara married a man named William Lonergan and Mary married a man named Stephen Patterson. Thank you for any info!
