Hi I am looking for a report or transcription on the grave of Isabella Mabel Malet to DISPROVE it is isabella MINER malet. The former is burie din Sewri cemtery which i think is in Bombay and Isabella died around 1870. i would love to find out , Thank you. Fred

Thank you . This lady ISABELLA MABEL MALET  is the exact age of my relative ISABELLA MILNER MALET .b.Cumbria 1839 ,
 is there any information as to family members or who bought grave etc ,?
 it seems such a coincidence .
 My Isabella nee Wharton , married an Anglo Indian , Richard (Dickie ) Grenville Malet ,in London 1861 so it is not a stretch to think it is her in Sewri .  Thanks again Fred

Just browsing in the India deaths Fred and there is one for a George Grenville Malet died of a gunshot wound (lots on same page) 09/12/1856 aged about 50 - maybe a relative of Dickie?

hi , Yes George Grenville Malet is Dickies father . He was killed (shot ? ) in a cavalry Charge . Interesting that is how it would be described  tho . I must look.

 I believe any of the Malets are fromthe same family as there was 8 brothers a dmost were in the milatary or civil service .
