I've been doing a bit more digging around and found out that the Doc had been married before and his wife Janie died in 1912.

The Doc has a mention in 2 books written by John Graham Miller and Alice has a mention in one book written by the same fella. Im not sure if the below links will work.

Live, a history of church planting in the Republic of Vanuatu ..... the doc is mentioned.
http://books.google.com.au/books?id=APPYAAAAMAAJ&q=inauthor:%22John+Graham+Miller%22&dq=inauthor:%22John+Graham+Miller%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Y4pGUabwEPCcmQWBnICIDw&ved=0CDEQ6AEwAA

Live: 1881-1920 ...... the Doc and Alice both mentioned.
http://books.google.com.au/books?id=jPLYAAAAMAAJ&q=inauthor:%22John+Graham+Miller%22&dq=inauthor:%22John+Graham+Miller%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Y4pGUabwEPCcmQWBnICIDw&ved=0CDYQ6AEwAQ

How much information is on both of them i dont know, there are only little snippets of info available without obtaining the books.

It appears that Dr. William Taylor and Elizabeth Alice Main Taylor were married December 22, 1913 in Shanghai, China.  Travel to and from Korea by missionaries at this time was very common.

Here is the link to the marriage certificate on ancestry.com

I am interested now in the surname of Dr. Taylor's first wife, Janie.  Does anyone know?

Can't help with maiden name of first wife.  Link to headstone of his daughter from his second marriage. She was born in Korea.

TROVE has a notification of the death of the wife of Dr William TAYLOR at Vila in the New Hebrides, no name given.  States that the couple commenced work in the islands in 1910.  No death date given but the date of the newspaper article is 27 April 1912.
