I`m not sure if this is allowed but I`ve been trying to copy  a viewed page of a Census page on SP.

When I right click on the highlighted box it says copy page but then I can`t find it, so I think either I`m doing it wrongly ( most likely ) or it`s not allowed.

Please will someone put me right !!

Hi

Ther should be a little square disk type icon on the left top  of the image - the  third along on the attached.  If you click on that, you can down load and save as you wish.

Thanks for your reply, sorry to have been so long !!

However, I`m still not getting it right.

When I open up the page in SP, on the left is a highlighted window showing the page I`m viewing, when I click on it, it says copy but when I`ve done that I an`t find it anywhere on my PC.

But I have found a way round it; printing the page and then scanning it in !!!!

Thanks once again

Hello Billy

If you right click and copy, the image will be copied to your Clipboard and you'll then have to paste it into a Graphics program such as Irfanview or Paint.

The top of the census page should look something like the attached. I've indicated the button at the top that you should click on so that you can save it directly to your computer.

Another way to do it would be -

Click on the My Details tab

Near the bottom of the page under 'Application Options' you will see a box called Image Viewer

If you click on the arrow you can change your preference to Direct Download

Having done this when you view an image there will be a link which you click on to download the image straight to your computer

If you find you prefer to view online you can always change it back to your previous view option

Thank you both very much.

I`ll try both ways and let you know how I get on.
