looking for any info on janet cotton b 19nov 1906 in 45 river rd carmyle her parents were benjamin cotton and elizabeth cotton nee rankin sharp. janet died 20th march 1937 at 1301 govan rd glasgow, her baby boy died also he only lived 4 hours. would love to know if she had any siblings or there familes still stay in carmyle or the tollcross area. ???

Benjamin and Elizabeth married in 1905 so you would need to check the 1911 census to see what children were born at that time

You would then have to check Scotlands People for births after 1911

Have you checked Benjamin and Elizabeth's death records to see who was informant?

found benjamin's death informent was his brother-in-law.couldnt find them in 1911 census :-[

Where did he marry Elizabeth?

benjamin died 18th dec 1939 at 56 causeyside st tollcross glasgow he married elizabeth sharp 13dec 1904 in main street thornliebank glasgow she died 1913 in shettleston glasgow, then he married margaret berry 1913 in st rollox glasgow she died 1844 in shotts. it was margaret berry's brother who was the informant on benjamin's death cert. cathie

The 1901 shows Benjamin was b Ireland 1880 - Living in Eastwood Renfrewshire at that time
