JEFFERY (possible diff spelling) marriage

Hi all,

I am trying to track down a marriage for my ancestors James Jeffery and his wife Patience. I've narrowed the time frame to between 1841 & 1851 (from censuses).  My one big problem is the spelling on Jeffery.  It varies every time!

They were both also dead before the 1911 census so no "years of marriage" box for me!

They were both from Baltonsborough which I believe is Wells.  Looks like they didn't move far throughout their lives so probably married there. Still cant find anything though! 

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Do you have Patience's maiden name from one of their childrens birth certs

1851 shows her birthyear as 1828 and no children so newly married probably

1841 only has 2 entries in Baltonborough for a Patience - one surname Dodamead b 1826 and the other Gill 1825

There is a March 1851 marriage - Patience Lester to James Leversuch

Patience Gill marries in Jan/Feb/Mar 1853 Wells, seemingly to John Burge (only 2 names)

Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Long shot here. This post hasn't been active for some time. I'm also looking up my ancestors James and Patience Jeffery in Baltonsborough. Funnily enough having the same problems finding info...... However your my new relation !  :o ;D
