DOW family

Hello I am new to Roots so appreciate any help/advice given. I am trying to trace info about  my grandfather George Greig Dow who was born in Glasgow. I know he had sisters but cannot find any info about them. I am also trying to find info about my great x4  paternal grandfather Lawrence Skene Dow who lived in Leith and married a Rebecca Turnbull.
Any info will be much appreciated.

its ok found him in the 1901 census with wife christina age 28 and son george greig son age 1

you can find the marriage of George Greig Dow & Christina Ross 1898 Blythswood, Glasgow on scotlands people:

pay to view site but indexes free. Scottish records give more info so the marriage record may well have their parents names /mothers maiden names as well. records can usually be saved / printed off.

(this I will have to check when I look at Census to see whether Lawrence c 1819 Married twice or Lawrence 1846 Married twice or a cousin married).

 Gosh what a response. Thank you all so very much, I am over whelmed at  how many people have helped. I have only just started on this journey to trace my family in Scotland but it seems that I have a long way to go given how much info you all seem to have.
