Hi Duckman

My mother in laws maiden name is Montgomery they are from Conlig.  I have asked them about the Montgomerys you mention but I don't think they are related.  There is another Montgomery family unrelated to my MIL, and they may be who you are looking for.  If you think it might be, contact me and I will gladly PM you some info.  I don't want to post on an open forum as it is not my family info.

Hello! New to rootschat - stumbled across it when searching my tree and saw this thread--- these conlig Montgomerys are also within my tree, hoping duckman or anyone else relating to this original post is still on here? Long shot I know....
