Marriage Lookup,..

Please could anyone help


I'm looking for a marriage record of a Robert Edwards to a Mary in abt 1845  to 1851, possibly earlier in the Oswestry, Shropshire area. I have a Robert & Mary Edwards in census records 1861, 71 & 81 in Selattyn, Shropshire.    I'm trying to find out the maiden name of Mary, both were born in Oswestry.


I have tried to search via the birth/baptism records of both known children born - John b 1851 & Mary b 1853, both where born in Ruthin, via the kind researchers at the archives centre in Ruthin but no luck there. I have been unable to trace them in 1851 census records.


Trying to think of an alternative route to see if a marriage record may be found, needle in a haystack I know but not sure of any other options. 


Very grateful for any help or where I may look next.

There are 2 marriages on that page; 4 people.
The other bride is Sarah Ann Gayter.

However, I can't see anything else that fits!
