Thanks Jennifer - was literally just looking at that one myself !  Can't read the occupation either 

I guess it is possible that George Alfred (who would have been 17/18 at the time) was not at the house at that time (he was listed as living with the Darling family in 1904 at the time of his marriage in 1904) but the lack of Thomas (who would have been 15/16) is a concern but again possible as they often worked quite young.

Will try and find the 1891 Census record for Livingstone Road see what that brings.

Yes, you are right.  Duff was a typo on my part. Definitely Luff.

Have managed to find the entries for 117 Livingstone in the 1891 Census and does not show them living there at the time - was McGrath, Page and Steel families.

Sorry, Jennifer - that Stepney link is way off in terms of dates.  George Alfred was definitely born around 1883 (not 1857).  Thanks for looking though.
