That looks to be the one, as James went on to become a major farmer in both QLD and New Plymouth. Do they keep going back beyond his father John or does the trail end there?

Hello! I believe we are related - my great great grandfather = James Baxter Connett too! My grandmother = Irene Lavinia  Barclay née Connett. This collection of info has been very Helpful to me also.
