Hi AC. Just go to the homepage for NLA. Click on ERESOURCES. This brings you to a log in at the top right corner. Once you are logged in, on the bottom left you will see a box to type in your search. Just put in 'Irish Newspapers' and you will then be taken to a page where you can access them. (Note to other readers - 'British Newspapers', can also be accessed in the same manner). Hope this helps you. Katharine.  ;D

Thank you both for that information.

Katharine, I have had a look at the homepage, and done as you suggested. I had not looked at the home page before  :P so had no idea about the ability to go to the Irish papers that way. Duhhh

So far, this afternoon(Oz time) I have not found anything, but will have to do more work later.

shane, I will do as suggested, once I get my head around just where to look. I think ::) I know the time period, but will probably have to look earlier just to make sure. I do know when the convicts were embarked, so will use that as the latest date.

Again, Many thanks
