Is this the same Catherine aged 10 months old on that Census entry ?

It certainly looks like it as Catherine does not appear on the 1861

Thank you both for your help. I feel quite confident now that I have the right Elizabeth as her mother was born in Long Whatton so therefore her daughter could well have been born there too.

I have found Elizabeth Bennett aged 16 in Shepshed in 1841 as being born in County. She married John Ward a Shoemaker in 1844 and died in 1851. Just to be sure I will check the 1861 census for Shepshed  for her son Henry Ward or her husband John.

Catherine Ward ties in well, not sure about John though.

John re-married - I'm pretty certain this is him in 1861 in Southwark Surrey given the name of his nephew

I wonder if daughter Mary A also died pre-1861.  There is an 1852 death in Loughborough for a Mary Ann Ward EDIT - that Mary Ann was an adult

Yes, looks to me like the right one too as George Bennett appears as his nephew.
