KOTYK/ POLOWYSKCHAK families in Poland

I am trying to find info on the Kotyk and Polowyskchak families that immigrated to the States sometime in the 1800s.

my father in law was born in Rohatyn.Ukraine  - BUT - it was Rogatyn,Poland previously ...there is a strip of land that borders Poland and Ukraine that has changed hands several times ...this being the case ...there are 7 trees on this site ...note that they are
Ukraine
Canada
France ...I think the Ukraine 1802 tree  Horodnica , Husiatyn ,Ukraine - may have been Poland at one time ...( note the tyn ending as in Rogatyn/Rohatyn )...anyway - have a look
