Hi mavibaby

Welcome to Rootschat  :)

I have split your post off from the other unrelated thread so that more people can see your query.

Hi mavibaby,

I'm afraid I can be of no help with photos or info, but was a bit puzzled by your post ???
Can't understand a marriage date of 1769 for John and Margaret Sinclair and then a birth date of their son John 1858??
Have you made a wee mistake (easy done :D)?

Cheers Looby

Hi mavibaby and Looby

Guess this is the family you are researching? https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.2.1/3M4B-HS2

The Nairn marriage can't be the correct one because of the year (shows on the OPRs for 1762 as you have).

What do you have on John Alfred Sinclair? A lot of the events, his children's births and his death, seem to have occurred in Fiji.

How have you confirmed his parents' names and his place of birth as being Falkirk c. 1858? I cannot easily see any Sinclair birth showing between 1855-61 in Falkirk that would fits so far for John.
