Wivenhoe - are the Winter births and deaths for Susannah's brother John's family?
Ros thank you for the information on Max and Dorothea. I had found them on the electoral register at the address in Maitland.
Need to catch up with all this information.

For some reason Susannah Winter went to Rockhampton from Richmond where she married Peter Hardie in 1863, maybe Peter was in Sydney pre 1863 and he securred a job as a Pilot Boatman and he with Susannah then travelled to Rockhampton together.  Just a theory!
