Looking for a grave
« on: Friday 24 May 13 10:33 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am trying to find exactly where a relative is buried, I know they are buried in the church grounds of St Mary's Bagillt, the only problem is, it is in an unmarked grave, My grandmother took there once, from what I do remember It is somewhere to the left of the church. Is there any way of finding out where he may be buried, I know there are quite a few of my family members buried in this churchyard. The person I am looking for is the first husband of my greatgrandmother.

His name was John Gordon. I know he is buried in a different part of the churchyard to his wife. She is buried with her 2nd husband.

He is showing as married to a Sarah in Census entries yet the 1861 marriage shows he married a Mary Hughes?

Are we talking about John Gordon who married Sarah Ellis or his son born 1876?He is given as dying in Conway in 1912?

John Gordon b1876. I know he lived in Conway at some point, didn't know he died in Conway, but I know how he died, & which cemetery he was buried.

His children were born in Conway. But going back to my original enquiry is there any way of finding out where he is actually buried.
