Thomas Thomas /Rachel Jenkins
« on: Sunday 26 May 13 03:14 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any  information or relatives of the following family:

Thomas Thomas born 1807 in LLanwnen, Cardingashire
Married Rachel Jenkins  born 1809 in Lampeter  (daughter of  David Jenkins and Eleanor Thomas).  Thomas and Rachel were married in Llanwenog  in the Parish Church on 28 Oct 1829.
In the 1841 and 51 census they were living in Pencarrag, Carmarthenshire.  All their children were born in Wales David, Eleanor, Mary, Anne, John O., Thomas W.,  Daniel B. and Rachel.
The family immigrated to Portage County, Ohio   after arriving in the United States in June of 1852 aboard the ship E. Bulkley.  Rachel died  shortly  after giving birth in 1853.  The infant died several weeks later.

Hello  :)

Welcome to RootsChat :)

David and Eleanor Jenkins had a son John who was Baptised on 12 Jan 1813 at Lampeter.
Perhaps someone has this John Jenkins in their tree and may see this thread!

However, RootsChat is meant for finding ancestors, rather than living relatives.

Personal details of any people known or thought to be living will be removed, in accordance with RootsChat policy, to avoid spamming and other abuses. So people here will be able to give you general tips and hints how to proceed, but not any concrete details.
