Joseph Hall 1781 - 1816

I am seeking information on Joseph Hall born 1781 to Thomas Hall and Martha Stalker.  I know he died circa December 1816 in Berbice, British Guyana, South America.  There is a possibility that he married Elizabeth Walton in 1803 in Cumberland but I have failed to find any information on her although there is a suggestion that they had four children.  What I am really seeking is any information as to when and how he went to British Guyana and if he was married did his wife and children go with him.  The London Gazette of 1817 gives the notice for his creditors after his death in Berbice to attend court and present their claims and the Slave register for 1818 lists one slave a five year old girl as part of his estate.  Any help will be well received.
