John Napp/Knapp/Knap/Napp born c.1748?
« on: Tuesday 04 June 13 17:00 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I am asking a handful of look-up request pages in order to trace the birth of the descendant mentioned above.
I donīt want to take advantage of this service, but the area I am searching in spans a number of counties (Hunts, Rutland, N'pton, Leics & Cambs).
Would someone possibly be able to search the indexes for mention of the Napp/Knapp/Knap/Nap family of this period in time? I am sure John was born in 1748 and am definitely not more than 5 years out. He died in Deene in 1823 aged 75.
Although John lived in Weldon from at least 1772 when he married there, I can not find any mention of him or possible family members in the Weldon records.
I am therefore doing a scan within a 25 mile radius (seeing as my labouring family never moved far).
I have no idea of any siblings or parents names.
Thank you for your time,
Sarah

Thank you! It seems the Haddon Knapps have been there a while.
