Hello everyone,

Sorry I'm only just replying to this, Sarah thank you very much for the nudge. I am getting email notifications but my email inbox was so full of junk I was lucky to see them!

Aaron and Evie I don't have info on the lines you are researching, sorry I can't be of help.

Anne, I am really pleased you've found my message on this board. Is it correct then that Daisy had moved to Morecambe? The marriage cert I found is from there and dated 1965. I will send you a private message.  ;D

Updating this just to see if any Rootschatters could find any more info or suggest tips? Anne and myself have been getting further with finding what happened to our Wilcox relatives but would really like to know more about the siblings and any descendants. If you are reading this and think you have a connection please reply on here or send me a private message.

I will list what we have now. There were 12 siblings in total (the youngest two daughters being from a second marriage), most/some of whom were re-homed during their childhood. Probably when their father died and their mother remarried. Unfortunately this means they lost touch and we have struggled to piece together where each one ended up. We think only two are still living and have thankfully managed to get them back in touch.

Jane Elizabeth Wilcox b. 11 June 1918 d. 12 Jan 1919 (age 7 mths) 6 Long Row, Shrewsbury

May Victoria Wilcox b. 28 Sep 1921 mar. Sydney French 1947 d. Mar 1996 (age 74) Liverpool

William T Wilcox b. June 1/4 1924

Frances Wilcox b. 1926 d. Sep 1/4 1926

Mary Doreen Wilcox (my grandmother) b. 2 Oct 1927 m. Harold Williams 26 May 1946 Ammanford d. Sep 2006 Dyfed age 79

Raymond Wilcox b. 1929 (have possible death cert 1999 Shrewsbury)

Daisy Evelyn Wilcox b.1931 (Anne's mother)

Edwin Charles Wilcox (known as Ted?) b. 15 May 1933 d.1998 Tameside, Greater Manchester

John Wilcox b.1935 m. Margaret Evans 30 Apr 1958 Wellington d. 2009

Rita Wilcox b.1936

Emily Beryl Jones b.1938 m. Reginald W Vaughan Jun 1/4 1960 Shrewsbury d.2007 Gloucestershire

All were born Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Have left the youngest sibling off as she is still living and we have recently found her. Any help especially on William, Edwin, Rita and Emily would be great. Already in contact with descendants of May, John and Daisy but between us all we still don't know much of the full story.
