Suek - thank you, I haven't looked for a while but as more & more records are added everywhere we should all check back on our 'problems' now & then.

will check it out on FindMyPast.

I just did a search in births for Cathrin Kamp* - this time I put in Durham for birthplace and they both came up - Cathrin Elizabeth Kampmans and Cathrin Maria Kampmans. These are baptisms, not sure if I said birth in my last post.

Keddie, Hutson - Scottish Borders and Edinburgh
Menzies, Montague - Penicuik and Castle Douglas
McEvoy, Cavanagh - Ireland

I've also found a marriage for a Katherine Kampelman to a John Hogg but in Middx in 1770 - don't think is relevant to your search, but thought I would mention it!

I'm having a job finding the baptisms now - but I've found them twice so I know they are there!!

Added - found them. Just firstname = Cathrin, lastname=Kamp*

Don't know why it sometimes doesn't show them - I cleared my search and re-entered it again and it worked  :-\
