I have just found this post relating to John Richard Papworth. He is my great great uncle. My great Nan and Granddad ran a shop of his on the Falcon Road Battersea. They were William Thomas Canty
and Lily Amilia Pickford. They both died in 1945. I do believe that there was a sweet shop in Wayford Street Battersea as well. I too have pictures of John Richard Papworth in his Masonic regalia. I have recently requested information about him from the Freemason Museum. i would be very glad to receive any information on him.
