Oh my goodness Sandra - you have been very busy on my behalf! Thank you so much. I have found a limited tree on Ancestry with the PRINGLE family - will try making contact with the owner and see if I can tackle it from this angle. Have to go out now but will look in detail later at all the information you have sent and see where else that leads. Thank you again for your help so far - anything else you can come up will be greatly appreciated. You have certainly given me some ideas and links of where to start looking. Regards, Sue

You're very welcome Sue.  Hopefully we can find a little more but I'm sure the links will be handy.

Hi Jacquie

What about the marriage cert? Does that ruling apply?

Currently marriages up to 1928 are available online. I believe marriages from 1929 and 1930 are available on microfilm but are not yet indexed. Hopefully they will be available sometime this year.

Hi Sue, I just joined this website and was surprise to see this thread about my grandfather Ted Hazell. I am a Canadian descendent. What is your relationship to him?

Hi Patsydawn, and welcome to Rootschat!  :)

It appears that Sue hasn't logged on in a couple of years, so in case she doesn't drop in, on Page 1 of this topic, a few posts down, she mentioned this:

I am not related to this family but am doing a wide ranging search into HAZELL families from South Bucks, England with the aim of trying to connect them to one another and to the branch from which my husband is descended. Many thanks for all your help so far, Sue

Hi everyone. I have had a break from my HAZELL researches for a while and am just about to go on holiday for a few days. Will look at my files etc on my return and respond again then.
