Hi Gazza

Just saw your post about the Dye / Day family and wondered if you had any further information you would be willing to share with me.  I noticed you were asking about a look up for the 1851 census.

I having been trying to look for more info on Elizabeth's family (parents and siblings) for quite a number of years now, as Elizabeth was my Great Great Grandmother.

I had found her with her parents Thomas and Jane in the 1861 census (as you appear to have done) but have been unable to find out any more about the family (going back from there).

I have a fair bit of info on her coming back to present day, but don't know much about her or her family before her marriages.

Can you help?  I very much look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards
Karen

Hi Ev

I saw your reply to Gazza about the 1851 census on www.freecen.org.uk

I've never actually used that site, can you tell me what I actually have to click on to find that census once I get onto the site?

Many thanks
Karen

 Hello,
This 1851 Census is also on Ancestry. Family name has been transcribed as Disy. Details are same as FreeCEN except mother's name is Marie not Masie.
     Good luck with your search.
               Regards,     Dod.  :)

Thank you Dod - I've had a look on the 1851 census at Ancestry, but I can't seem to find anything.

I'll keep looking.

Thanks
