Hi Wendy,
Not able to add much. THe deedholder is at the top of the listing, and here it has " None. McArdle( Mary Duff)" [presumably as she was the first burial?]
All I can add is their ages.
John McArdle interred 17/12/1867 age 3 months; Mary Duff age 69; George 15 years; Catherine 37 yrs; Agned 4yrs; Catherine [1876] 15 yrs; John [1893] 64 yrs.
there are no further burials in this plot other than your list.

Thanks Marienne,
I was hoping Mary Duffs husband might also have been there. Will have to keep searching.
Thanks again

Ford Cemetery Grave C.515

Its likely to be a common grave but I am clutching at straws here so if you have to time confirm/deny that, I 'd really appreciate it.

According to the Cemetery register a Patrick "McKevy" was buried here, age 1, abode Tenterden Street.

The forename, age and address tick the boxes for the child I am looking for but their surname was "McKeon' I have seen numerous weird and wonderful mis-spellings of this surname and its the only death of a Patrick I can find in the right time frame for the right district/age at death, so my gut tells me its the right one, but if there is a chance that the grave has other occupants I can even tentatively connect to this family, I 'd feel much happier.

Thanks

Boo

Hi Boo
the bad news is it is a public grave, and Patrick is the only burial  (on 13 April 1860) in it.
The good news is I'm sure it's a typo, as FreeBMD has a death registered in the June quarter 1860 Liverpool 8B page 9 for a Patrick MCKEON.

Thanks for taking the time to look, Marienne, much appreciated, I didn;t think the grave would have been purchased by the family - no money spare for that.

I had the death registration, maybe the writing on the death cert was too squiggly to read properly (though death reg definitely says McKeon as you say).

On balance, I'll take this as his burial, he's not in St Anthonys so Ford was the other option.

Thanks again

Boo

Hi,

Newbie here but have been doing some family research for over 2 years now.

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I have recently visited my family grave for the first time and I did not take a picture when I visited the grave. It felt wrong for me at the time and I was feeling quite sad also (my grandmother is buried there and I was overcome with emotion at the time).

However, I have some research I would like to conduct, and I have realised that not taking a picture was a massive bo boo on my part.

I'd like to know the names of the people that share plot JL228 (it is a family grave). I know that John Ready who died in 1933 was buried here. There are also other names mentioned on the stone, and I'd like to check that they are on my family tree/ cross check my tree.

Any help in seeking these names would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you require any additional information.
