Mc Guigan family, Belfast
« on: Sunday 23 June 13 22:29 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for any information about one of the many Mc Guigan families in Belfast, I am particularly looking to find any information on Joseph Mc Guigan (died on the Kenbane Head) and his wife Elizabeth.  their childrens names are joseph, daniel, anthony, frank, robert, leo, gerald, john, sally, eileen and belle.

Any information would be fantastic.

Hi there, just to confirm that this is your Joseph, ie. Joseph Leo (there's another Joseph went down on the Kenbane, but it says his wife was Teresa):

The AncestryIreland website index produces a number of hits for father Joseph McGuigan / McGuiggan and mother Elizabeth.  This includes a Francis (1931) and a John (1928), but most intriguingly a Joseph Leo (1921), which might be worth looking at to get the mother's maiden name (the records are pay per view).

Hi, my mum called Veronica McGuigan is the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth. We too are trying to trace the Belfast family and all the siblings of Joseph and Elizabeth. Please get in touch.

A date or two about when someone was born or married or won the Lottery would help!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Welcome to Rootschat  :) Reading you post and the original one on this thread it may be two different Joseph and Elizabeth McGuigans here.

If your mother is still alive you aren't allowed to post her details (no living people policy explained in the Help pages) but if your grandparents are deceased you could post their details so that we can try to help you.
