Hunting Dixon and Joyce families of Emlebeg Nash barony of Erris parish of Kilmore county of Mayo.Co. Anthony brothers Patrick and John came to Us about 1851.Bridget Joyce Dixon tought to be daughter of Anthony Joyce. Two brothers may have came to Ohio, United States in 1870

In case you are not already aware, there is a Joyce family tree (from Belmullet) posted at http://www.goldenlangan.com/families.html .  Also, several Joyce and Dixon headstones appear in the Emlybeg and old Carne cemeteries (see http://www.goldenlangan.com/headstones.html ).

Thank you, I have some trouble getting into these sites.My grandchildren come to help when they can. I'm going to try and search that site. I have a second cousin .Going to school in Ireland for a semester. hes hoping to find the area our people came from. Other cousins went 2 years ago and couldn't find any place. Dixie Dixon Flowers
