Alexander Brodie b 1828
« on: Friday 28 June 13 16:21 BST (UK) »
Alexander was born in Peebles I have him on  1851 census in  Livingston West Lothian with John and Euphemai Kerr ( he is related to them through a family marriage).

I cannot find him on 1861 census although on Family Search he comes up living in Borrowstoness ( The old name for Bo'ness ) Linlithgowshire .

Grateful if someone could find him for me .

Thanks

Hi suzilad

I can only see this one as a possibility:

1861: Lane Leading? To Peir? From North St, Boness,
Head: Alex'r BOWDIE 33, Blacksmith, b Peeblesshire
Wife: Alison BOWDIE 32, b Dalmeny, Linlithgow
Nephew: Henry J BUCHANAN 9, Dalmeny, Linlithgow

Cheers
