Hello Church Family,
My name is Niall Foster.
My Great Grandmother was a Church from Dullaghy and married my great grandfather the Reverend Ernest Porte.
I am checking with cousins on her first name.
In my bedroom hangs an embroidery sampler made by Sarah Clarke of Salterstown House made on January 17th in 1860.
It seems this may be the Sarah Clark who married William Church and must be an ancestor of mine, possibly my Great Great Grandmother.
I would love to find out more about this branch of my family. I gather that we are scattered to the winds with many emigrating to Australia and New Zealand.

   On 7 Nov 1895 EDMOND Porte married ELIZABETH C. Church in Desertoghill Church of Ireland, Coleraine District.

Elizabeth Courtney Church was born 30 July 1869 at Dullaghy. Her parents were William Church (c1836-19 Jan.1908) and Sarah Josephine Clarke (25 Apr.1846-1 Nov.1913). I have the full details from the marriage  certificate if you need them. Have lots of information on the family but will send a message to a Church descendant who has done more thorough research.
