Hi,

I am related to Davis clan of Roscommon. My great great grandfather was Mathew Davis born Kilteevan around 1811. His daughter Catherine Davis my great grandmother was born around 1846 in Cloonybeirne Roscommon. Catherine married my great grandfather James Gilleran. His daughter my grandmother Ellen Gilleran married my grandfather Thomas Nevin. My father Michael was born in Corbo Roscommon.

Not sure if any of this helps but we are catholic.

Thank you. My Davises were decidedly Protestant, alas. I've come to think my ancestor invented the Roscommon birth, plucking a county out of thin air.
