Hi Denise,

Just had a quick look, but will delve further. Mary Ann Granger looks to have been born 11 November 1858 in Franklin, Tassie and died in 1914 aged 56. She is buried in the Ulverstone General Cemetery and was buried 5 August 1914

Hi Denise,
I have used the Tasmania's Heritage site to find information relating to ancestors who went to Tasmania.  With convicts transported to Tasmania from England you can often find digitized records relating the convict.  Use the menu on the left of the screen and use the Tasmanian Convicts section and also the Convicts applying to Marry.  It takes a bit of scrolling through the records but you can find quite a bit of information.

]Thanks also Kay for your response. I did find Henry Ackling convict details from that particular Site plus various other URL's as follows as yes it is quite time consuming. I am now having difficulties finding his Death and Burial Details, however, I shall keep searching.  :) Have a lovely evening, Denise.

Following on form my last post, could this be his death I wonder? Though it would mean he got to a decent age. Maybe TROVE has something on this Henry Ackling?

Hi again Denise

Here's some funeral notices for the Randwick Henry Ackling (bottom one), who also seems to go by the name James. Don't know any age or other info yet on this bloke, but will keep searching for clues.

Henry (aka James) Ackling - SMH Funeral Notices Sat 25Jun 1910 p.24

Cheers for now, Bonza
