Is there any way of telling which of these could be my ancestor's father's baptism (if any)?

It's not easy with these early records 

It's worth looking at the original records for any further information (but early records are often brief). You may have to look for clues elsewhere. 

Try tracing all the children of the parents mentioned and see if the same names crop up in the family you are researching.

Try looking for MIs.

Sadly the further back we get we are often looking at possible rather than proven ancestors.
