Thomas Porter married Jane Bibby (c1822, Flint); marriage registered Great Broughton Q3 1842.
Four children Catherine Bibby, Elizabeth, John and Thomas.

Has anybody come across this Thomas Porter and if so have you any idea of his parents?

www.cheshirebmd.org.uk show the marriage was at St Mary's Chester so it can be looked up in parish records at Cheshire RO

It is also on the IGI at Family Search showing the full date and a fathers name  ::)

Thomas' father was John Porter, a mariner; Jane's father was John Bibby, a joiner.

Witnesses were Anne Bevan and Samuel Porter.

Samuel Porter is my wife's 3 x Great Grandfather and an elder brother of Thomas.
