I am seeking some information about John Macdonald carpenter & Isabella Corbat his wife.. They had a son who was baptised on1/3/1791 named Sween Macdonald....
1/ What were John Macdonald's parent's name's
2/Did John & Isabella have any other children.I think John & Isabella were born between 1760 & 1766...any infor mation will be very much appreciated.. thank you

Sorry about the confusing typo in my last post.  It should read as follows: ......."the baptisms for these children of Sween McDonald & Mary Janet McKay"

There are several refs to Sween McDonald on Google.  This snip is from a 2004 genforum discussion & looks like a memorial inscription:

“Sween McDonald, boatbuilder, Clachnaharry, died 15th July 1828 aged 86 years, wife Janet McKay died 6th .... 1811 aged 72 years”

I can't access the full discussion for some reason.
